Time-saving marketing tips
Time is precious when you are a business owner! You have clients to meet, projects to complete, staff to manage, finances to sort out and the list goes on and on. On top of that you need to market your business!
There is a faster way to market your business. It will take some time and effort in the beginning. Once you put the structure and systems in place it will be a whole lot quicker and easier and save you time in the end.
Subscribe to automation tools
It does cost money to use several automation tools. However, the time saving over the long term is worth the investment, freeing you time to bring in sales.
Take advantage of the free trials first to see if it is the right tool for you before the investment.
I hear time and time again, about small business owners who pay for automation tools, but they don’t use them because they don’t know how. Youtube is amazing, there is so much on there with information on anything and everything.

Create a marketing system
Write down the steps that you follow each time that you complete that marketing task.
I have marketing systems in my business for publishing, creating my social media content, networking events I attend, updating info on my websites and email campaigns. I store each of these systems on Dropbox.
It makes it very easy to be able to visit one place and find all of my systems and steps.
Anything that you do more than once in your business can be systemised, and the time saving is great.
Have a sales script or process to qualify leads
A sales process is often developed over time once you’ve experimented and worked out what the best way is to convert enquiries to sales. And remember phone, email, phone, email, never just email. There is no relationship building with just emailing. When you have a relationship with your client, they will continue to do business with you and give you referrals. Referrals are the best way to market!
It will save you time over the long term because it will help you improve your enquiry to sales conversion rate.
It will also help you to qualify leads better and quickly identify the best prospects for your business.
Time can be lost on following up sales leads that will never eventuate in a sale.
Get your potential client to join an email list.
When you send out your email campaigns or newsletter have a‘call to action’ wherea potential client can opts-in to your newsletter or fill in their information for you to help them. At this point, they are also a warm or hot lead for your business.
Invest in paid advertising
You can either spend every spare moment you have posting organically and hoping to reach your ideal clients,
Or you can save yourself the time and use paid advertising that you know will get seen by your target market.
